Time and Attendance

The CCS Time and Attendance System (TAS) replaces time clocks and timesheets by consolidating time-and-task information from barcode scanning stations, keyboard data entry forms, and an automatic entry generator.

Data entry forms allow an administrator to define tasks, job documents, and employees as required for a custom-tailored configuration.

For shop-floor use, real-time entry is performed by the TAS Scan Station application with a barcode scanner—no keyboard is required. Employees begin a new task, including the first one of each workday, by scanning a bar-coded badge to identify themselves, scanning a task from a bar-coded task list, scanning a job document, and finally scanning OK from a short list of editing commands.

TAS can also be configured to automatically generate time entries on a variety of schedules, creating daily break and lunch events, date-based holiday and vacation entries, or complete workdays for selected employees.

A flexible reporting system makes it easy to extract and view data in a variety of formats, restricting datasets as needed. Bar-coded employee badges can be printed, as well as barcode labels for paper job documents. Electronic documents, including CAD drawings, can have barcodes directly inserted by copy-and-paste editing. Finally, TAS can distribute data to external business applications such as payroll or project tracking, eliminating double entry.
